Time-Lapse Tuesday: Cloud Forest in Colombia
Catch the clouds as they make their way through this valley in Colombia.
It’s Tuesday, so once again it’s “time” to “lapse” it up! (See what we did there?) Each week, we share a new way of looking at this big blue planet of ours. While a photo does a great job of capturing what we see with our own eyes, a time-lapse reveals just how little the eye can see. This week, we catch the clouds as they make their way through this valley in Colombia.
Pacific winds amble their way over the Andes Mountains, rolling toward the dips and drops of the Cocora Valley, making this area of Colombia the perfect climate for a cloud forest. And we're lucky for it as it's home to the Quindío wax palm – the tallest palm tree on our planet.
